The Alexandria City Courthouse intends to close at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026. After 1:00 PM, the courthouse will provide a drop box for one-way document deliveries until 4:00 PM. Documents placed in the drop box by 4:00 PM will be processed by the court as filed on Friday, July 17, 2026.

To allow sufficient time for our office to prepare and deliver your filing, we request that all roundtrip filing requests and documents be received no later than 11:00 AM. Same-day one-way filing through the courthouse’s drop box can be placed until 1:00 pm.
