Terms & Conditions
By giving us your legal papers and/or package to deliver, you agree to the following terms:
Payment Terms: Payment is due in full no later than thirty (30) days from the invoice date. Payment may be made using cash, check, or credit card. A late fee will be applied to the balance after the invoice due date The terms of the late fee will be on the first page of invoices. In the event that your account is sent to collection, attorneys’ fees and costs will be your responsibility. There are NO REFUNDS and fees are determined and set at time of order. Additional fees may apply to original price if redirected to additional addresses or additional time is required to complete the task.
Limited Liability: Liability of Served by Elite, LLC to be referred to hereinafter as “Elite”. It is agreed that the value of the shipments, whether they are one package or more packages, will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) and the for lost or damaged packages, including negligence, will be one hundred dollars ($100.00) unless otherwise declared and then additional charges apply. The additional charge will be Five Dollars ($5.00) for each additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) or fraction thereof. In order for Elite to protect shipments of high value items it is agreed that Elite shall be informed of the shipments value at the time of order. The declared value does not constitute nor do we provide cargo liability insurance. Elite will not be responsible for loss or damage caused by the clients’ delay, improper packaging or labeling of shipments. Claims pertaining to lost or damaged packages, of any kind, must be submitted in writing to Elite no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of service. The client waives their rights to the claim if not submitted within the specified time period. Any claims received after the specified period will be deemed invalid. The client agrees to all liability of any claim against Elite from a third party regarding shipments. In no event will Elite be liable for more than two thousand dollars ($2000.00) unless agreed to specifically by an officer of the company.
Private Residence Policy: Any delivery to a private residence or business that is run out of a residence where the recipient is not available will be left at the main entrance to that residence. In the case of bad weather our drivers will protect the package to the best of their ability. If there is no way to protect the package it will be re-delivered the following day at an additional delivery charge. This is the procedure that shall be followed unless any special instructions are provided at the time of order.
